It all started when…

For years we were wondering what to do with our beloved farm. Numerous family & friends suggested turning the hay barn into a wedding venue. We often chuckled when this was suggested but it certainly had our wheels turning. Prior to being an official wedding venue, we hosted many weddings for family & friends in our backyard. During one of these weddings, I had the wonderful opportunity to play a lawn game with JJ Abrams (yes, that JJ Abrams) and his lovely wife Katie. JJ commented on how beautiful our “venue” was. I simply smiled and said, “Oh it’s not a venue, it’s just my backyard.” Then he said “Well it should be a venue.” When JJ Abrams makes a suggestion, one should listen…and we did.
